The latest 1.03 patch for Kingdom Come Deliverance is another big one, with users reporting that they need to download between 13-16GB of data. The patch will also look to fix a problem where the R2 slash attack button doesn’t work on some PS4 controllers.
Since its launch on Tuesday, Kingdom Come Deliverance has had more than 40GB worth of patches to download, including a 23GB day-one patch that not only tweaked, but added features to the game.
Daniel Vávra, creative director at Warhorse Studios, acknowledged the issues on Twitter, saying:
The version released on physical copies of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. This is the version that got the 23 GB patch. This is the version that got the 23 GB patch. Day 1 Patch – Version 1.1.
“Regarding the R2 issue – we are working on it, but it’s not [a] software issue.
“If you facing this issue, then it seems your button lost some of its sensitivity. We will fix it asap by changing the input pressure value. But it’s interesting that it’s only this one button for everyone.”

It seems like the cause of the problem is how hard a player needs to push the trigger to perform an attack. Currently, the input pressure value is set at 90%, but if you’ve got a well used PS4 controller – or don’t have strong fingers – you’re not able to exert the required pressure, meaning your character just does nothing.

Before you’ve downloaded the patch, you can fix the problem by manually remapping the R2 button to something different in the main menu.
You do this by going into “Settings” on the main PS4 home menu, then “Accessibility”. Then you need to scroll down to “Button Assignments” and tick “Enable Custom Button Assignments”. When you’ve done that you’ll be able to change the R2 input to a different button – L2 for example – so every time you press that button, it’s as if you’re pressing R2.
Remapping the controls makes the input pressure value irrelevant, so you’ll be able to attack whatever state your controller is in.
A new feature comes to Forge with this update in the form of 'score to win' now being available as a value source. Halo 5 patch download. The update also fixes a problem where some user-made maps were corrupted or impossible to load. Additionally, this Halo 5 update includes the that are being evaluated in the special 'Proving Grounds' playlist. Specifically, the rendering performance for some Forge objects has been 'greatly improved' and should no longer have as many frame rate issues.

Kingdom Come Deliverance offers something genuinely interesting and different in the RPG space, but definitely isn’t straightforward. Simple tasks like getting a horse, or even finding a spade for a quest can be a confusing challenge.
However, with about 500,000 copies sold already, it seems like challenge many are willing to take on.
It’s taken a little longer than expected but the Kingdom Come: Deliverance patch v1.3 is finally here.
The update brings some expected changes such as a new save and exit feature. Performance has also been improved with a reduction in stuttering and a smoother framerate. For sneaky players there’s a new lockpicking interface now in play, pickpocketing has been improved, and it should be easier to sneak past sleeping NPCs. There are also over 300 quest fixes in this update.

- The game now has Save and Exit feature.
- Saving is much more robust and saves won’t get corrupted even if the game crashes while saving.

- LoD switching tweaked, reducing pop-in and improving texture streaming.

- Your horse shouldn’t get stuck when jumping fences.
- Horse items are cleaned along with player items in bathhouses.
- You can see when looking at a bed whether it will save your game.
- You can sleep on beds without having to sit down first.
- Levelling up stealth by sneaking past enemies is more consistent.
- Sneaking past sleeping NPCs is now easier.
- Some easily accessible trunks with extremely good loot have been removed.
- Cave mushrooms can now be found in many other damp places.
- You can no longer autocook potions that you haven’t brewed by hand at least once before.
- German voiceovers will no longer cut off in mid-sentence in cutscenes.
- Late game player strength tweaked
- Some combat perks that were unintentionally overpowered were tuned down.
- Weapons scale less with high-level stats.
